My story
I am Raiza Antunes, an art director and producer with over 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. With a background in Fashion and Design, I found in art direction my way of telling stories through texture, color, and symbolism. I am a member of BRADA – a collective of Women Art Directors in Brazilian Audiovisual.
In fiction, I have led the art direction for feature films such as Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2, Mallandro – O Errado Que Deu Certo, Dois Mais Dois, SaraLiaeLéia, Fluxo, Nina, Compro Likes, The Fates, Os Senhores da Guerra, and A Casa Elétrica. In television, highlights include O Manual Para Se Defender de Aliens, Ninjas e Zumbis, O Boneco de Barro e o Rei, and The Love Side. Among my short films, I was honored with awards for Dia dos Namorados (Lajeado Film Festival) and Naldo e as Batatas Sorriso (Santa Rosa Festival), in addition to other projects like O Boneco de Neve and Cedo.
In set design, I worked on Não Se Aceitam Devoluções and coordinated scenography for Rock in Rio 2011. I also contributed to the art departments of films such as O Tempo e o Vento, O Carteiro, Enquanto a Noite Não Chega, and several short films. As a costume designer, a notable highlight is Porto dos Mortos—winner of Best Costume Design at Zed Fest (North Hollywood, California)—and the series 4 Destinos.
At Névoa Filmes, I bring a keen artistic eye and strong production expertise. I engage from the birth of an idea to its realization on screen, with sensitivity and precision. I believe every detail is a narrative choice — and that the invisible also shapes the impact of a work. Today, as a producer, I continue weaving worlds between what is dreamed and what is delivered: with beauty, integrity, and care.
